I like VAIO but it's super ex.

In other news, read abt e Moscow airport bombing. gia si lang.

no one messes with the russians...

Go look at the youtube clip pitting the iPhone 4 against HTC Desire and HTC HD2. The iPhone 4 only won in one segment - booting up the quickest whilst being turned on. Other than that, the HTC Desire was the clear winner.

I soooo desire the HTC Desire! But the bloody phone plans here are outrageous! I'll just stick to a 'normal' minimalist phone. After all, I'm not generating million-dollar deals on the move so I don't really need a fancy-pancy phone... and an even fancier-pancier mobile phone bill!

i know.. while the iPhone is stuck, everything else moves on.. competition does that and new models = new hardware = more powerful stuff..

i think Motorola is putting a dual-core processor in their phone next

anyway, here in Singapore, you probably pay the same mobile phone cost whatever smartphone you get...

i was happy with my little HTC Magic but time has taken a toll on it.. it's slow as all hell now.. takes about 2 minutes to turn on.. lags like a $*&^#

waiting for the 2 years to be up

My friend and I was totally wowed over by a Sony Vaio until we saw its pricetag - AUD 4000+!!!

But its graphics was the most stunning of the lot!

One of my juniors has an Alienware laptop which costs $5K but it's an amazing thing to do CAD renders with. Eventually though I think lower-end laptops will catch up.

Minimum plan for the HTC Desire here is AUD$79 for only 2GB. And there are lots of exemptions for phone call charges so you'll usually end up paying more than the minimum.

I just head the phone services here. I've run into so many headaches with Telstra and Optus and it just wears you out trying to fight with them.

Yes... The Motorola Altrix... A Dual Core Tetra, with 1GHz on each core...

very solid... very sweet... I'm waiting for it, either that or Xperia Arc or Galaxy S2...

Meh, I'm just sooo sad to be using a symbian phone...

That Alienware lappie was voted as 2010's #1 Laptop of the Year by cnet's Australian branch.

I was reading a few reviews on it, mostly positive, but some techie guy started talking about unlocking or tweaking some component blah blah... it's quite a turn-on listening to a guy go on about something I don't understand and cannot grasp because, well, intelligence is such a huge turn-on! But at the end of the article, I still didn't understand what the hell he was trying to say!

the thing about the Russians is that what we think of as overkill, is to them being very subtle...

anyway, it's 10am.. time to go swimming..

back later in the noon before i go to work

yes... this makan session is good...

Is this just a period promotion???

Rhonda SG

You know what, guys... whenever I return to Singapore, I feel so 'lost' and 'slow' and 'out of touch'. I feel like a redneck from some machiam not so developed region. And I'm actually from the 2nd largest city in Australia!

Rebels don't give up easily. Attacks like these have been going on for a long time now - think back to the incidents at Beslan school, the theatre and the subway.

sbst275 SG

Singapore is developing too fast.

the Bear SG

oh oh.. before i go... since Alienware was mentioned...

MSI is trying to muscle into Alienware's territory.. they have a disgustingly powerful laptop and a button which reminds me of the old 286 and 386 machines.. a "turbo" button!

still think Alienware's lappie looks cooler although it's heavier than hell

the Bear SG

dunno.. we forgot to go back to find out after dinner on saturday
